Ensim Corporation Honored with 2014 Cloudys Award
Ensim Automation Suite Selected as “Most Innovative Cloud Enablement Tool”
PHOENIX – Sept 9, 2014 – Channel Partners , a resource for indirect sales channels offering IT and telecom solutions, is pleased to announce that Ensim Corporation, a leading provider of automation and orchestration solutions, has been selected as a winner of the 2014 Cloudys Cloud Channel Innovation Awards.
"The response to the inaugural Channel Partners Cloudys awards has been overwhelmingly positive," said Khali Henderson, editor-in-chief of Channel Partners. "This program rewards innovation across the cloud ecosystem and success in a world where traditional distinctions among developer, vendor, provider and partner blur.”
Ensim Automation Suite (EAS) was honored by Channel Partners as the “Most Innovative Cloud Enablement Tool.” The Ensim platform allows service providers and enterprises to deploy an end-to-end turn-key solution for providing products and services via the cloud. EAS provides all the enhanced OSS/BSS functionality that providers need - including a complete marketplace, service catalog, provisioning, and chargeback / billing solution - to efficiently support commercialized ITaaS offerings.
“It is increasingly critical today for enterprises and service providers to operate successfully as cloud businesses, but transforming their front and back-end processes to effectively keep up in this cloud landscape is not easy,” said Dave Wippich, Ensim CEO. “We are pleased that Channel Partners has recognized Ensim Automation Suite’s impact on the market. Ensim empowers our customers by supporting flexible product modeling and allowing product managers to clearly define and rapidly roll out offerings, establish the right pricing models, accurately track data consumption and bill customers accordingly.”
To determine the winners of The Cloudys, companies completed an application that asked them to demonstrate how they are driving innovation in the cloud channel — either for their partners or for their business customers. Ensim’s solutions have been deployed across a broad range of organizations around the world with over 300 major deployments in over 30 countries.
Channel Partners editors evaluated and scored all applications to determine the winners in five categories, including:
- Most Innovative Cloud Service
- Most Innovative Cloud Customer Deployment
- Most Innovative Cloud Partner Business Model
- Most Innovative Cloud Best Practice
- Most Innovative Cloud Enablement Tool
Twenty-five winners were honored during an awards ceremony on Sept. 8 at Cloud Partners, a Channel Partners event, in New Orleans. These winners will be featured in a Channel Partners' November/December print issue as well as a digital issue that can be downloaded from The Cloudys Immersion Center at www.channelpartnersonline.com/cloudys. The 2014 program was underwritten by Verizon.
